Proposed Tariffs

President Trump announced that he will have a minimum of 10% baseline tariffs on countries.  If the country charges more, the Administration can do up to half of the tariff percentage.

President Trump feels that countries are giving economic harm to the US by charging tariffs in their countries for products that we are sending to them.  So, if the countries stop charging on US products, then the US will reduce their tariffs.

We are trying to get clarification if the tariffs are for Colombia, Ecuador and other countries and if on all imported products.  And, then if and when the tariffs will be started.
