Galo Sanchez brings over 20 years of experience in supply chain management and business strategy, specifically within the Consumer, Food, and Beverage industries, with a focus on highly perishable commodities. At The Elite Group, one of the world’s largest producers of fresh-cut flowers, Galo is responsible for developing the group's operational and financial strategies, aligning them with its commercial initiatives and global expansion. The Elite Group operates across the U.S., South America, Canada, Europe, and Africa, and employs over 36,000 people.
Galo’s breadth of experience as a strategic advisor in business and operational improvement has helped numerous CEOs and company leaders, including those at WEBB (Nestlé Cruise Line Products), NUKANAL, FloraFoods (Italian food producer), among others.
Galo currently serves on the boards of some of the world’s most renowned perishable goods companies in the U.S., U.K., Canada, and Amsterdam. He is also a speaker at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan MBA and Ph.D. business programs, specializing in leadership and business transformation.
Galo’s academic background in business administration, aerospace engineering, and his specialization in Business, Technology, and Procedures at MIT complement his hands-on experience and strategic agility.
